Learning Spanish For Beginners - Easy to Learn Spanish

When my good friend went south to teach in Mexico, I recommended she try Rocket Spanish to get her speaking Spanish among the locals as soon as she got there. She spent a year or so teaching children and building relationships with Mexican families. This review is based on what she told me of her Rocket Spanish experience, as well as my own understanding of the Rocket Languages program. The initial Interactive Audio Lessons of Rocket Spanish had her listening to and reading along with real Spanish dialogue, practicing along and gaining familiarity with the way the Spanish language is actually spoken in conversation. She quickly started introducing herself in Spanish, asking questions and getting to know people. She said she found the Rocket Spanish learning style perfectly suited for her to begin getting along right away in a Spanish-speaking community. In the second component of Rocket Spanish, the 31 illustrated grammar lessons helped her gain a more natural, intuitive understanding of the structure of the Spanish language. Busy with work and her developing social life in Mexico, she spent as little as 5 hours a week studying Spanish grammar, (not to mention practicing it just about wherever she went!), and had a firm enough grasp on how Spanish sentences are composed that she found herself creating much more complicated phrases than she had yet covered in less than two weeks! Now, not many English-speaking students of the Spanish language will have the opportunity my friend did to learn the language immersed in such a supportive Mexican community - you’d probably have to put in a bit more time with each component than she did. Her claim that Rocket Spanish teaches in a way so well suited to conversational Spanish speaking is also echoed by other Rocket Languages members she often felt as though she might as well have been in receiving personal Spanish lessons from a trusted instructor, only sitting along at her computer!
